Sax Myle - On the Web

NEWS:

10/28/2000

LABEL NAME CHANGE PENDING:  In December of 1996 Sax Myle had released their debut CD "the Iris Whitefly Project" under the label name of Frozen Sky Records.  Due to an unforeseen conflict involving prior use, the name of Frozen Sky Records will no longer be affiliated with Sax Myle or it's members with regard to any future productions thereof.  It should be noted that the remaining stock of Sax Myle CD's (which bear the Frozen Sky name) is extremely limited, and specifically, there are no plans at this time to re-release "the Iris Whitefly Project" without changes in mastering, packaging etc.

SAX MYLE LIVE - PART II (Post Grip):  "The January 21st performance at Gold Coast featured a last minute appearance by Sharla Pember (of 'Eden') who sat in with myself and Brian on both voice and violin.  The collaborative chemistry of her extraordinary vocals and improvisational abilities quickly led us to participate in a short run of shows in support of Sharla's material.  In addition to a second show at Gold Coast (in honor of their final week of operations), we performed together at Club One, the Bowery, and the Delaware Theatre, often enlisting the aid of top notch bassist Al Hebert (of Tribe of Souls) who displayed an amazing mastery of his instrument.  The four way improv jams and the ambient excursions were a joy to participate in.   Regrettably, very few of these performances were captured on tape."  -Hail
