Publishers on the Web
| Faculty may be able to request examination
or desk copies from some publishers directly from the web page or get information
about contacting the publisher's rep. Students will find that publishers
have set up web pages for them to use that are tailored to the textbook
the student is using. What is offered can vary considerably, but
some very nice sites have been set up. I strongly recommend checking
to see what is available for your textbook. And, you might want to
see what is useful to you at other publisher's sites, too.
Tulsa Community College currently uses the Rathus textbook, Psychology in the New Millennium, from Harcourt Brace & Company for on-campus classes, and the Zimbardo & Gerrig textbook Psychology and Life, from HarperCollins for the telecourse. There is a wealth of material at the Rathus
site, but as of early August, the Zimbardo site at HarperCollins was still
being constructed.
