All MegaPsych Pages are optimized for viewing in Netscape, with monitors set for 800x600.  Feel free

This site grew out of Addresses of Note for Psychology Faculty and Students (AON), by John W. Nichols, M.A., which is copyrighted.  However, feel free to distribute it except for for-profit purposes.  For-profit users must contact John W. Nichols at JNichols@TulsaCC.edu or JNichols@Tulsa.Oklahoma.net for permission to use this material. AON currently includes over 200 discussion lists, 50 web sites, 17 ftp sites, and 15 gopher sites of particular interest to psych faculty and students. You will also find psychology-oriented newsgroups, email addresses for APA and APS personnel and other professional and student organizations, and a list of programs you can download from America OnLine. There are also about 100 support group and other non-professional discussion lists. Psychologists are turning to the Internet in a big way, but most of the action is on the Web. Consequently, AON is no longer updated frequently.  The last update was done in early 1996.  It will be updated again by late Summer, 2000, at which time it will be converted to HTML format and published as a Web page.

The full text of AON is available at:
        ftp://premier.tulsa.cc.ok.us/pub/psych/aon.txt
If your browser will not connect, try:
        ftp://premier.tulsa.cc.ok.us/psych/aon.txt
A shorter list of new sites, consisting of only the sites added to AON at the time of the last update, is available at
        ftp://premier.tulsa.cc.ok.us/pub/psych/update.txt
If your browser will not connect, try

As with everything on the Web, MegaPsych will be constantly "Under Construction" for a long time to come. Not only will new sites be added to the existing pages, new pages will be added linking you to other catagories of sites of interest to psychologists, psychology faculty, and psychology students.

A "list of lists" dedicated to areas of specialization within psychology will be added in the near future. Later, a list of support groups and other non-professional lists of interest will be added.

        Check back occasionally.

If you would like to comment on MegaPsych or AON, or if you are the ListOwner of a psychology-related list, or have a psychology-related homepage that you think is appropriate for inclusion, or if there is an error in your entry, I would like to hear from you.

MegaPsych pages are created and maintained using Netscape Composer.
These pages are best viewed with Netscape or Internet Explorer.

        (I prefer Netscape)

        Both are free.
Why use an inferior browser if you don't have to?
C|NET's Browsers.com is a great source for downloading the latest versions.
